It was actually an option installed by the dealerships. Can't recall all the details, but it was only a slight beef-up to the rear leaf packs, dually wheel conversion (no axle changes, but all were D44 rears) and the added special molded rear fenders.

You'll see lots of toyota trucks with this same conversion kit.

And yes........ I do want to build one some day........ if I find the right 2wd long bed.....

That particular one was for sale on e-bay for $11K or so...... dunno what it eventually sold for.

You can just make the from resin , use the original bolt pattern from the
rear trim . You can some cool shit with poly fiber resin .

I keep hearing folks suggesting going to the JCWhitney catalog to find a source - I know theres a few making them for full size trucks but with the MJ having been out of production for 10 years....... I'm thinking there won't be anything out there.

BUT...... yeah, if you could find a set off of one of those Toyota conversions, I imagine a person could re-contour the inside edges and use the resin to make mounting brackets affixed to the inside of the fenders....... :dunno:

Hi I have a Manual transmition with a few mods. It is a Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 l High Output VERY FAST
It IS BLACK the car is black it has tinted windows at 20% black rims and all the lights are black
It has FOG lights 2 in front.(BLACK)
it has 4 lights on top (BLACK)
the head lights and tail lights and signals are (BLACK)
a cold air intake
an exhost that is cut off after the catalatic and dumps off under the pasanger side back door
I still have the muffler I will throw in with the car if you dont want it to be loud
It has an alarm
It has an system( ALPINE 10 IN 2 of them in a ported box)
everything that is in this car I had put on it
it shows 226000 on the spadomiter but had a rebuild at 150000 miles so only
searous people only
Im asking 4,500 obo
