Heritage and the grandfather of the XJ and the modern SUV..........properly outfitted they looked downright brutal and intimidating!

They were a tank, unstoppable, heavy as hell gas guzzlers! I had a 360 in mine and it went up the mountains hills like nothing else. Power power power! Although I swear I got 8 gallons per mile.


I had an accident in mine, hit a Toyota corolla making an illegal left turn in front of me. I hit him on my front right side, 3" long dent, about a 1/2 in deep on my Cherokee front right clip. Totaled the Corolla. That is some heavy solid vehicle........ crush zones my arse, who needs'em!

I still drove the thing until the engine finally blew a rod after 200,000+ miles.
