I saw his settup. connectors are cut off and the wires are superglued to the front of the 8track player. the screens are written in with a sharpy. and the things dont have batteries.

Normally I'd snatch that up in a hurry........ but I have very little funds and need what I have for the Moab trip....... and I have no more room at the lot....

And yeah, I imagine it definitely could be put back on the road if a person was to strip the dash and full harness from the bulkhead completely out and get all the replacements from a donor. Looks like the gauge cluster shorted out. However, I'd definitely check to see that the meltdown didn't start in the wiring on the other side of the harness...... that'd require a full wiring system replacement...... do-able, but very tedious.
