Best of Craigslist

I remember that being for sale on craigslist a couple of years ago -- I remember Yella and I agreeing that the weight of that camper, and the high COG would make that thing a bear to wheel, and eat those rear springs. For camping convenience on fire roads and the like though, that would be a pretty cool setup!

Yep, and I think it's funny he posted that the camper conversion was done just a few months ago......

I'd be real concerned about the integrity of the unibody and how that camper is mounted to it. If that camper has a decent structure to it and they joined the XJ to the camper all around the opening created to bring the two together, then it'd probably be fairly solid. But if it's just kinda sitting in there with a few limited bolts holding it in and some sealant in the gaps.... yikes.

Totally cool set up if you have no interest in 'wheeling it, but maybe using it to pull a light trailer with dirt bikes or ATV's it'd fit the bill alright.

I'd love to go check it out just to see how it was done.

Wow I can't even read that..
