I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee that I do not want to sell , but will reconsider if I get a decent offer.
(Uh, posting a for sale ad... pretty much for those that want to sell...... but $3000??? he's high as a kite.......)
I am flexible for cash / trade. I am strongly leaning towards cash.
I may trade for a mobile home in Boulder county with reasonable lot rates.
(Yeah..... A mobile home of equal value as the XJ can't be much more than a drafty shack..... :looney
A jeep that has bad body damage.
4.0 engine with 160,000 miles
Front diff with 160,000 miles
Transfer case with 130,000 miles
Rear diff with 130,000 miles
5 speed transmission with 130,000 miles
(How does the rear half of the rig get LESS miles than the front? Did all of those get replaced when the XJ had only 30K miles????)
Custom front bumper with winch mount capability.
Brand new 3" Skyjacker lift with new shocks
Brand new 235x75x15 all terrain tires / original aluminum rims (and new BFG mudder-terrain 235x75x15 spare)
Brand new clutch assembly with master and slave
Very new steering gear box
Replaced alternator
Brand new windshield
Driver and passenger seats in excellent shape (always used seat covers since 1999)
Doors open and close with windows holding shut driver / passenger with manual clip device.
(Uh..... whut?)
Driver door closes one click and has 1/2 inch gap.
This jeep has a salvage title.
The reason for selling is the oil fumes in the cabin due to jeep flip 4x4 incident.
(Nevermind the fact that it has "bad body damage" from the "jeep flip 4x4 incident" ....... but that damn oil smell will do ya in everytime..... :dunno: )
I ran the engine without plugs, after smoking replaced plugs.
2,000 miles after incident.
(Uh..... ok, so after the "jeep flip 4x4 incident", you drove it 2K miles and then "ran" the engine w/o plugs, then had a cigarette, and then replaced the plugs..... :twak
I will post pictures after the holidays.
(Because it's a rule you can't BEFORE the holidays....... )
