They're can be used fine on the road... Mike just bought those same ones and he doesn't seem to be having issues, and I have a friend that just put some new 42" kevlars on his DD crawler and loves em.

What do I need 42's for anyway? I mean the trails I enjoy to ride are challenging with 31's! so yeah maybe if I keep moving up and get addicted then maybe?

I'll stick to my little fire roads and such.
I have the mtr's yes, but even the silent armors have Kevlar. They have been using it for a while just not in the mtr's. Which is why then being Off road only makes no sense
also I drove by this jeep the other day( right next to a friends apartment)
it sits on 35's but NOT the new mtr's. It is pretty clean but the add seems to be full of it cuz it's smaller than my jeep and I'm not on 8+" of lift lol. I'd be curious as to what else it's fibbing about
