'91, 4.0, 2wd with the 4.0. $2500 in the 'springs. Not a terrible deal, funky hood scoop and minor damage to the driver side rear 1/4.

$24,900.......... Sure, it's got an LQ9 swap, but really?

My friend Danny has less than that so far into His Camaro build and that is a 426 at 800hp...but it's not shop built so no real labor cost .As a go fast this xj falls a bit short over a cheaper sports car and is not a bad ass wheeler ...so good luck getting the labor costs paid to build it back ...lol...you can't even register it on your own unless you live where I do or have someone to let you register it in an exempt county otherwise you will never put it on the road .

That thing is dang clean, I wonder what front accessories drive he ran to get the stock hood closed without cutting.

Kept the AC and everything! Minus that rat nest wiring where the battery originally was.

What makes you say that? I would think as long as he kept the cat, it could be registered.

It's gone back UP in price!

It sold for somewhere near/below it's original $20k list price.

It was just on CL for $18k.

Now it's up to $25k!?

Man, what a trip

I'm wondering if that's part of the problem. I'm not sure if the stock emissions equipment was fully kept.

No stock emissions equipment, no registering it anywhere except a few select counties.

because his description said no emissions...most likely the ecm and wiring no longer support emissions so when they hook up the puter at the emissions crenter it will fail.

No. I didn't say the whole country.

Just looked it up, looks like about half the states do it now...way more then I thought did. This is the first place I've lived where I've had to do it.

I live in Park county ...EXEMPT...they fail testing for silly things my xj still has the 4.0 and with a cat it would be fine but the tank is inside and the filler door on my side panel jcr plate tail light box was welded up and emissions Nazis require fuel filler to be in stock location so despite meeting emissions they would fail my rig now ...on better note the newer sites allow up to 40 inch tires on the emissions dyno.

Might be a better deal than posted before on a LSx XJ (not swapped, and in NM, but a $20k savings!)

Selling my 2000 Jeep Cherokee LS 5.3L Swap Project.. Don't have the time to finish and need a daily driver..

Have everything needed to do swap except wiring harness.. Jeep is lifted with good tires and clean tire. Paint is fading a bit on the hood and there are a few small dents.. but overall the body is in good condition.. The interior is in perfect condition! Comes with LS motor out of a Taho.. and a 4L60E Transmission.. Also included is everything necessary to do the swap from Novak Conversions (3 fan radiator, Motor mounts, Headers, Transmission Adapter plate, Computer)...

Novak Conversions sells the merged wiring harness between the Cherokee and Taho.. and will program the computer for free if you purchase the harness from them. (this is the only part I am missing to get the jeep running)

Note: you will have to build the exhaust and get a drive shaft made after engine is installed. Note: also the front end including lights is in the cab of the vehicle and is not pictured but in good condition.

I need a daily driver and would be possibly interested in trade. Call with questions vehicle is located in Albuquerque, NM
