Belt tighteness

I'm pretty sure the belt tension is uniform throughout. I remember from freshman Statics that cable tension on both sides of a pulley is equal.

Out of curiosity where are you guys using your kricket specifically ? I used mine in between the PS pulley and the idler pulley adn the results dont seem always consistant ?

Which section of belt would be easier to deflect?? Say....4 inch or 14 inch?
