It isn't the 'burbs that should be bombed, it's the cities.

I just received a call from a friend and classmate from architecture school. His sister was just robbed and killed (shot in the head, execution style) in Philadelphia. No details yet, but she was married, had two or three kids (I lost track), and was generally an all-around nice person.

There is no reason for this, and no reason why it should be allowed to happen. Even Hugh, who grew up in South Philadelphia, says he goes there as little as possible these days.

I gotta get out of the northeast. Anybody got any jobs for unemployed XJ fanatics out around Wyoming, Montana or Idaho?

Man...there are goblins everywhere. I'd agree in theory that cities have a higher density of them, but that's just a guess. The burbs, and the sticks have their fair share...

If I were to venture a guess, I'd say it's a fault of the dope culture. The shit that these morons do makes them forget about anything human they may have learned in their 'past life' and it's "all about ME and MY next fix." Fawkin tweakers will kill & rob their kin for their next fix... think anyone's immune? Watch your back and don't be afraid to engage hostile targets is my best advice.

The government thinks we should be afraid of religious fanatic terrorists...I think the REAL terrorists are in our neighborhoods poisioning our children, brothers and sisters.

Makes me sick...no - rephrase, makes me want to run them all through a woodchipper and feed the mush to stray animals. I hear all this "it's a sickness" touchy-feely BS, but if so...I got a couple cures in mind. One good one is dropping poison-pseudo dope at payphones. Like rats...they are too dumb and greedy NOT to take the bait. One at a time or en masse works for me.

There are those who might claim owning 13 XJs is a bit wacko -- but we know better. People like that go to those places just because there's nobody else around, and generally nobody will bother them. That's all I want -- just to be left alone and not have to feel that EVERY car that pulls up next to me at a light is probably a potential carjacker.

I'd add that wierd and terrible things happen when folks are crowded and isolated... or otherwise (enter your favorite malady)afflicted, with no escape mechanisms or positive support. The lack thereof doesn't absolve them of their responsibility to be good humans...and it SURE doesn't oblige me to treat them as such.

I think the problem is its no ones fault...not their problem either. And just about everyone doesnt really care... but usually the government will write a check to cover it...
My 3 year old has it right "BE NICE!!!" she commands and she'll put your butt in time out if your not. Maybe she should be in charge.

i wonder if we would even be reading about this tragedy had the victim been informed and trained in the practice of carrying a concealed handgun on a daily basis. either way it is a tragedy that should not have occured, and unfortunately it doesnt get much worse than this.

This type of crap happens everywhere. When you get more people in an area the chance of having it show is higher. I think it was a month ago, here in Boise, a kid was shot execution style for narking on his buddies.

I'm starting to feel like the police aren't there for protection anymore. We have spent so much time passing laws to protect the innocent that the police have there hands tied in most circumstances. Granted, in my home town the police dealt more drugs than the dealers and were completely worthless so I started biased.

I've finally started to realize it's not me making the decision of my fate and just leave it at that.

Eagle needs to move anyway. We just need to give him the excuse. I'm guessing the riches to be made moving handlines are enticing enough. When I started it was $10 a line, which is 1/4 mile.
