Difference is that at least you guys came in a convoy so if something broke, help was right there with you. I'd be riding solo the entire way. If something broke or went south while I was on the road I would just be F'ed.

Not true at all. I went by myself... well I had my wife and 2 kids with me and thats when my lil girl was only 5 month old. And I drove my XJ there wheeled it and drove home. My XJ is old enough to go out drinking, hell its almost as old a flores AND gas was a lil over $3 a gal. then.

The reason I can't go is cause I have to work a 48 hr shift on the 22nd and 23rd. I REALLY want to go!:rattle:

I would be more inclinde to help a friedn broken down on the side of the road then go to Katemcy is something did happen.
