I took an .50 cal browning from the armory to Ft Dix one weekend for a small arms course I was teaching, had it mounted on the tripod and bungied down in the back of my S-10.... Got stopped 3 times....

Now that time we were going to the governor's review down at the state military academy at Sea Girt and the two of us in the S-10 put both M-16's in the rifle rack in the back window, that was funny, the toll collector must have called them, we rated no less than a dozen NJ state troopers who stopped traffic behind us and on the north bound side of the parkway. A month later the divison came out with a directive of no more military weapons allowed to be carried in POV's... The other guy riding with me was a state trooper...
