Ball joint socket sizes?

Anyone know the socket sizes for the nut on the upper/lower ball joints on the d30 ?

Which nut are you talking about ? The castle nut?

obviously, bigger than any wrench size you have, HAHAHA

But seriously I am guessing in the 3/4 to 7/8 range, probably metric, everthing else on the axle is, so probably 19mm to 21 mm

22mm for the bottm castles the top i think were 19mm and the new ones from trw I think were 36 MM for the bottom but same for the top as the old.

well ive got a 96 and a 30mm is to small for the bottom i will find out 2marrow the exact size

7/8ths for the top, and I think it was 34MM for the bottom. I just did the driver's side on 1 of my '88s' earlier this week. I actually managed to use hub socket (36MM) on the bottom nut!

Question: are these castle nut sizes consistent with 97-01 XJ’s?

Trying to find online which castle nuts I need to buy for the upper and lower ball joints that go behind the knuckles.
