Badlands Nov 28th -noob run-

I'm taking some local Fort Wayne folks off another board and some co-workers with Jeeps to the Badlands on Nov 28th. I'm gearing it as a noob run. I have some co-workers with stock to mod XJs/TJs/YJs and the same mix from the local Jeep board that are planning on going. Some have never been wheelin, some have only wheeled the local mud pit a couple of times.

Its going to be a fun, yet long day on the trail, doing nothing too hard.

If you haven't been wheelin or consider yourself a noob, this would be the trip for you. If you have lots of experience wheelin and have the patients to have fun with folks new to the sport, I would gladly enjoy your participation as well.

At this point we are planning on driving down early Saturday morning, wheeling all day and then camping at the Badlands campground on Saturday night. Sunday wheelin maybe a possibility, but that depends on how big the campfire gets Saturday night and the weather will factor in.

Plus this is making me get my act together and put the baby Jeep back on the trail.

Awfully nice of ya to organize one for the noobs. I myself am I perpetual noob. Mark me down as a maybe for this one. Got a buddy with a stock TJ and this would be right up his alley. What time are you thinking you'll hit the trails?

Probably around 10. I'm hoping to leave the Fort early that day, but by the time we get there and leave some stuff at the campground, it will be around 10 I'd guess.

I'm planning on being there with a few cherokees as well. A fellow member and I have gone for the last 2 years and its always a good time.

We should be there about 10 also, so we'll get hooked up before hitting the trails.

Usually there with the Jeepininin crowd. Mac probably knows a few of them.

I can probably do that If I end up going. I have a dentist appt. on the first of December so funds will be limited Since they want to drill holes in my teeth!

Hey Mac you really should think about bumping this Noob run back 1 weekend and catch our annual Toys For Tots Run at the Badlands on December 5th. Just think for the price of $10.00 and a new unwrapped toy you get to ride the trails and enjoy a free hog roast lunch with the fixins.

I originally picked this weekend because "a" I have that weekend off, and normally me and holiday weekends don't end up with the same days off...and I don't know until two weeks out if I get days off for sure and wanted to plan this in advance, and "b" its the weekend that jeepininin goes so I thought I would do it in conjunction with them (i originally posted this on the jeepininin board), and "c" the guys at work have this weekend off and they are noobs with a TJ on 33s, a stock TJ, and a stock YJ. And "d" I need a reason to get the baby jeep back together for a run.

I'm actually considering going to the T4T run too if I can get the day off...but won't know til two weeks out...I was there last year.

My status is up from "maybe" to "count me in". Buddy with the TJ can't make it, but another buddy is gonna ride along and both of our 7yr old boys. We're going to make it a (long) day trip.
