Badlands July 31st

In the spirit of the "tire purchase" thread, my wife just informed me that she'd prefer to drive her XJ rather than my Suburban while I'm at the Badlands with you all, since she is uncomfortable parking the bus. So, does anyone have room for a passenger? I'm leaving the dog home with her.

No problem, we'll have a seat for you

But, are you sure she's uncomfortable with the burb, or uncomfortable with you possibly scratching her XJ :D

Aaron (my son) may be staying home Saturday to take the written test for his drivers license, so I may be running solo that day.

There should be no problem finding a seat. Come on up ...

Thanks, I'll be there. If she cared about keeping her XJ pretty, she should wash it and clean out the junk from the inside once in awhile. It'd be nice to see her put the same amount of effort into the vehicle as I do in the maintenance/repair end. She's wheeled it before, and it has some minor pinstriping to prove it. i think I'm more attached to it than she is, as a matter of fact.

Don't make us refer you back to the wives/tires thread.

Oh, I already gave it justice. I have my own theory, but am not about to jump into that viper pit. :eyes:

It looks doubtfull that we will make it this weekend :(
Justin was in an accident last night and shatered his jaw in several places!
We are awaiting surgery now to see what the extent of the damage is.
We will keep you informed.

Any one know of a doctor that would like to move in to my house and patch up my boys once or twice a month!?

Well the babysitter fell through :rattle: . I wont be able to make it AGAIN. One of these days I will finally make an event. I hope you all have a great time and take pictures so I can off road through you all.

Sean I hope your son is allrite and he heals up fast.

Damn, Sean, you guys have certainly seen more than your share of hospitals/doctors recently. Hope he'll be OK, and hope you guys can make it after all.

The doctors say they are probably going to have to put a steel plate on both sides and wire his mouth shut for 6 - 8 weeks. The poor kid can't talk or eat solid food.

We had the day from hell yesterday. Sean had a court date for his divorce and her lawyer made sure that it did not get finalized yet. We stopped on the way home to have a few. Left feeling much better and then got a phone call that Justin was in the ER and had an accident. They didn't tell us anything more. Stopped for coffee and spent the rest of the night in the ER. Didn't get to bed until 6:30 this morning.

Yikes, sorry to hear about the accident. Tell Justin to hang in there and I'll buy him a burger when he's ready for solid food again.

BTW, Sean, thanks for the call the other night... when I got the message in the morning it started my day off with a good chuckle.

Sorry to hear about the accident Sean.

Confirming I'll be at Summer's Friday night. Anyone else going to be there Friday? If not, I'll plan on meeting at the Badlands office at, say, 930?

Don't count us out yet, if he is feeling pood enough, JT, will spend the weekend at grandmas house and we will just bring along Travis.

They prolly will realease him tomarrow and we will se how he does.

Sucks b/c this is the first weekend all summer that I will not have guys working. I can actually go some where and relax not think about work for a couple days.

SeanR and Jeeplas ... sorry to hear about your Son's accident and injuries. Sounds like it was a pretty serious accident ... auto? Sounds like he is doing well ... that's good news.

I think my parents can relate to your request to have a doctor move in to patch up your boys. I was one of four boys in our family ... It seemed one of us was always getting burgered up when we were all kids ... I don't think it has anything to do with luck ... that's just boys.

Hang in there ... and hope to see you guys this weekend.

That sucks. Tell him to be good, take his med's, he will be chewing again before he knows it. At this point we are still ON for Sunday, so I hope you can make it.

Best wishes,
Rev
