I have the hick part covered, just take a look at my driveway and garage! I need more space for all the project vehicles, but who doesn't? My wife couldn't get a cheap flight for that weekend, so I'm trying to convince her to come along. It is her XJ, after all. I can't wait to mee you all.

The last time I went to Attica when I live in Mt. Prospect, Il I stayed at a bed n breakfast in Attica in the neighborhood a few blocks from the park. It wasn't too much and it is a nice place. I've been to the Badlands twice, the 1st time I blew my motor in a water/mud hole in my91' yj on 33" pro comp muds, 5 speed, crappy 3.07 gears etc. The 2nd time I went with my big bad 94' yj with 10" lift, 33's tsl's, 4.88 gears, ford 8.8, 4.3L chevy vortec v-6/4L60E auto tranny and walked over just about everything with just a limited slip. That park is fun, pricey, but probably 1 of the best places in the area. Where else so you guys go wheeling out in the IN, IL, WI area? I have family in Rockford, IL and will be visiting them from 8/21-8/29. My brother-in-law has a 76' CJ-7 that we could wheel with. I have been living in Citrus Heights, CA (Sac area) for the past year and a half and the wheeling out here is amazing. The rubicon/fordyce is within an hour from the trail head.

I called and made reservations at Summers. I mentioned to them that there will several of us from calling. They said to make sure everyone that calls in lets them know that, and they will put us all close together. They have a lot of open spots now but advised that by the end of next week not much will be available.

I got my site reserved, so I'll just drive the Winnebago to the park Sat morning. Got a wedding Fri nite, so I won't have time to check in at Summer's, hookup the MH, and unhook the Xj, then drive to the Badlands on Sat morning. Unless it's a really lame wedding...
