I wheel in a way not to need tow points. I know what mine can and can't do. I surprise most with the places I take my worn out xj.

Listen to the experts dude, terrain changes all the time due to weather or previous wheelers. Besides, towpoints on an xj is cake. Not trying to come off as a jerk, but that is STANDARD stuff. WHEN you do get stuck, how would you get out? Axle tube? There is no frame to wrap anything around. Get on it.

Funny thing is, we didn't use a standard tow point to get me out.......

I might be able to go! I haven't been wheeling since Winterfest, and I really need to get out and play. I might even have the front locked by then!
And yes, you need tow points. You might need to pull some one out who did get stuck. Like me for example.:sad1:

Pretty sure there are bypasses for all the hard stuff on orange.
