Hey,
I am interested in some of your stuff possibly :P I was curious, is a Track-Lock a limited slip? I'm not familiar with it. As well, the gears don't happend to be set up in it do they? I'm gonna be getting a D44 and install alone on gears is $170 cheapest I have found. I could persay just get a different carrier already set up and swap it in correct?

Thanks,
Kevin

^ Would have PM'd but your box is full ;)

Track Loks are the Jeep OEM limited slip diff. They are (rebuildable) clutch-type diffs that replace the open diff case inside the axle housing . They need a small bottle of 'friction modifier' additive to the gear oil. They are not a 'locker' but will limit individual wheelspin some.

The 44 TL I got w/o gears... It would need new bearings/shims & set up.

The 8.25/27 TL is also seperate from the gears, but ran with those 3.55:1 gears for 50k(?)

PM Box is now empty :)

is the 8.25 ready to be bolted in and completely ready to drive on?... i think my 35 just went out and im in NC as well
