Axle Dilemma - Looking For Opinions

Rear driveshaft u-joint maybe? I had a similar experience a few months ago. It got to the point where even at 40 mph if I put my foot on the gas it would start shaking terribly. I then replaced the clutch and noticed that when I pulled the rear drive shaft, that not one but both u-joints were completely trashed. They looked to be as old as the Jeep itself (a '92!) and those vibes went away when I swapped them out for good joints. Until the pinion yoke wallowed out. And then I replaced that. All good now. My symptom was vibration that was worse when power was applied, just like yours.
