Hi, I have a 93 XJ 5 speed 4x4 w/ a 231 t-case. My tranny has been scratching a little on up shift and can't downshift at all. Would you have a tranny for me? Also would you have a grey driver leather seat for the same jeep or just the covers?

Have your taken your tranny to a gear shop? It sounds like either your syncos are going or your clutch may not be disengaging all the way maybe the slave cylinder.

Get someone to check it before you buy a used tranny plus shipping costs esp from Ohio. Post on SOCALXJ for someone close to you to help you out.

You'd be better off getting the tranny rebuilt locally.

Rebuilding your tranny should be in the $400 range plus any hard parts that might be broke (chipped teeth etc). $400 should get you new bearings, syncros and seals. You'll have to R&R it.
