Avatars?

Once you join, there is an option to use a custom avatar. Restrictions? It can be a MAX of 100x100 pixels OR 19kB filesize - whichever is SMALLER. I've had good luck resizing larger pix using ACDSee - it keeps the filesize small and listens well. I suppose Photoshop or PaintShop Pro would work just as well - but ACDSee is what I have (and it's easier to use than Photoshop - which I've also got.)

Anyhow, you'll select the "custom avatar" option, then browse to it on your system. You should get a confirmation that image is the one you want to use - but it's been a while, and I've been going thru on autopilot lately.

No problem - but don't be so sure. Given what it costs to sign up, can you really afford not to? Think about what we've saved you in repair costs here... (hint, hint...)

Just funnin'. I'm doing the "triple major student" thing, and I know how spendy the little things can get. Take your time...

Well, it's not just the money. So far I haven't taken my Jeep off the road once yet! So, it's also a matter of interest. I've yet to determine if I'm going to be a off-roader.

But, thanks for the hospitality.

'S ok - I haven't gotten off-road either! Still, this has been a great tech resource, and has lead to my writing a book (first of three) and designing a few parts that I think are upgrades.

Considering I'm running 30's or 31's on stock suspension, I'd need a lift to go offroad in the first place! Still, it's worth signing up here as a tech resource - and even as a parts resource (designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, or parts that are less likely to break. See my website for information on more - and I've got more to design...)

Now, I'm not trying to talk you into forking over your hard-earned dosh - just trying to show you the advantages. Have I succeeded?
