Automatic Window Woes

I have got an older door with a different connector on the power window motor. It has green and brown wires, is the brown the negative wire?

Mine has a green and violet (could look like brown) one wire is up and one down. Don´t know where it grounds, I´d guess through the switch, on a common ground, with the other switches.
