Automatic trans. seals?

Hey guys,

About to do an engine swap on a '91 XJ.

Are there any tranny seals I should replace while I have the motor detached?

Front pump seal. Pretty much it.

And make doubly sure it is the right seal. Take the old seal with you. NAPA sold me the completely wrong seal and it caused a monumental leak. Left me stranded.

Well, they're both round. One is thicker than the other, both latitude AND longitude wise. Of the two I got, even though one seemed to fit, it was about 3/32" larger on the inside and one was fatter. The parts guys at NAPA gave me the wrong one. That is why I recommended taking the old one to the parts store with you.

Which one worked out best? I’m having a major leak after replacing seal during a flex plate and Tc swap on a 2000 xj had it changed out and 6 weeks later it started leaking again.
