I now have to decline on this trip- I got my tranny cooler in for the Jeep and I have a long trip to OR next week to go pick up a friend's Harley. I need to do that install and Saturday looks like my only free day. I hope you guys have fun and I will see you around the area on other wheelin trips- please take good pics for me.

Alright, well since I'm going to be there; I'm taking it upon myself to lead you nuts up the mountain again. If there's any last minute things you need to do, maybe we can meet up at the Puke In the Bag earlier. I'm more than willing to do some last minute thrashing Sunday morning. And don't forget, bring your camera. If this weekend has even half the carnage(and underwater XJ's), as our last trip; you'll burn through your memory card quick.

I ment to mention that I was bringing my GF (the boss) and a buddy so, three of us (I'll bring some sodas and water, anything else?). My brother was wanting to go but, wasn't sure if he would be welcome as, he's driving a Tacoma. I have an '85 Toyota p/u and early Bronco as well but, I'll be in my XJ----------Hans

Just wondering are there any trails up there or is it just that one OHV area? I believe there are because i went camping up there once and in the middle of the night some H2 hummer drove right by us out of nowhere! Next morning found a trail that went pretty deep in. It was gated from the paved road though but i don't see how there could be any private land in that area. didn't look like a ranger or anything like that either. Anyways im gonna try to make it out there tomorrow.

Its my understanding that there are a few limited access trails up there, I personally have never tried to gain access but I know someone who got denied a few times
