Aug 8-9 Uintas Campout

Since its Been in the 40's at night in kamas (which is still cold) I'm sure it's going to be cold up at the higher elevation

I slept on top of strawberry in the middle of that storm. It got down to the mid 50's. Perfect sleeping weather.

What part of strawberry tho. The reservoir still isn't that high in elevation. And 50's is ok but not perfect sleeping weather for me. I'm more 60-70 for sleeping. But I still don't see 50's even up there since friends that live in kamas aren't even getting that.

But we''ll see.

Oh and it at least the weather at home is showing 0% of rain sat sun. You never know I. The Uintas though.

Yes I know that why I asked where. The reservoir is 7612 but strawberry ridge isn't

Oh yes in the uintas you can wake up to a foot of snow after a 70* day

I was actually warm. The daytime was downright hot and had us all hunting for shade.

Well I just spent the weekend at 8000' and the nights were 50* where I was at in the uintas. And I froze, good thing I had my buddy heater in the springbar. So ya I think I would have froze on this run
