ARB Compressor placement

I had mine next to air intake filter box, under the hood; fit nice, but had to move when I "remoted" my oil filter. Here's a pic of its new home. A little trimming required to fit it here, but it goes in without problems. It's no noisier now, than it was under the hood.

OOPS!!

I installed the Puma to air up, but it certainly can handle the ARB's needs, as well. On the other hand, the ARB compressor is almost useless for airing up large tires. And, for $200, it's hard to beat. Solid, 100% duty cycle compressor.

I agree. I'm very happy with my 400C and have had it for more than 3 years.

The plastic tends to fail when they are run past the "suggested" duty cycle. But the new CKMA12 has solved that problem with a much longer duty cycle.

Mine is under the hood near the firewall on the drivers side. Fits like a glove.
