This weekend they are doing a $40 admission on Saturday. For that admission they will allow you to grab everything you can carry in one trip out the door for that rate.

There are a handful of early model XJs, 2 late model XJs, and one 1986 long bed MJ 2.5 2wd with few useful parts (D35 - I looked).

There are 27 Explorers on the yard (as of today) so the chances of getting an 8.8 for $40 is pretty good.

Near as I can understand, you can pile stuff up in the wagon, but when you get to the cement pad by the door, you have to pick it all up and carry it about 30 yards from the gravel to the garage. So if you are strong enough to carry 2 axles - one under each arm, and have a door strapped to your back in one trip, you got a hell of a deal!

Can you use a bag to help hold stuff? Or does it have to be in your hand?

Don't know David. It sounds like it needs to be on your person. He mentioned strapping or taping things to your body. However, wear stuff with lots of pockets and that should help.

Two axles for $40 would be plenty for me!
