The US recognizes two forms of citizernship,
1. Naturalized--You imigrate, apply, take a test etc.
2. Natural Born--Born on US soil OR born to an American Citizen. Obama's mother was a US citizen, therefore Obama is de facto a natural born citizen. A citizen by the nature of his birth, not naturalized.

I have no Idea where Obama was born, It just seems odd to me that he would not just release a Stamped with the seal copy of his birth certificate & put an end to all this speculation.

But that's exactly why I was happy about this election. I would have gladly taken either one of the candidates after the crap that the Bush administration put us through for the last 8 years. Sure he had his high points (ducking a couple of shoes thrown at him). Hell, I feel sorry for all the comedians out there, because all their material is going to dry up the moment Obama takes office. Put it's going to be nice to have a President who can chew bubble-gum and walk at the same time. Someone who's not a national embarrassment when he travels abroad.

I'm giddy at the prospect of having a President who can form coherent sentences and NOT make up words on the spot to cover for his own lack of intelligence!

And I fully admit I loathe Bush and the idiots he appointed to office. I'm biased toward anything that isn't Bush. I'm biased to a pile of rocks in the Oval Office when compared to Bush.

And then again, SOME of you can't get past the fact that Clinton got a BJ from a fat intern in the Oval Office, and very well may have cheated on his wife to boot.
