anyone want a 4.6L?

I realize that this is not in the for sale section, but this is just a feeler...

Due to some events with school and such I'm a bit strapped for cash, and since I cant sell the jeep, I might need to sell the engine I'm building. The shop is almost done building the 4.6L and I hope to have it 98% done in the next few weeks.

So the point of the thread is to see if anyone would want a 4.6L engine?
I would be looking for selling if for just over what amount I put into it (sub 3K). I have all the part order's and shop papers.

I just want to judge intrest here...

no, tailight warranty.

once he dont see your tailight, its no longer warrantied

Donor engine was from Bloose and had an oil pump fail which required new parts for the head.

Parts New:
Crane Cam (753901),
Crane lifters,
Crane Valve springs(99833-12),
Crane retainers(99947-12),
Speed Pro H802CP Pistons +.030 (STL-H802CP30) (weight matched 1g)
(All of this was from summit racing)


timing gears and chain for cam
Oil pump
Rocker Arms
Rocker pivots
Rocker bridges (J3236513)
Pushrods (33002986)
(all the jeep stuff was from Burger Chrysler-jeep in terre haute IN)

Other Parts
4.2L crank (12 weight)
4.2L rods (weight matched 1g)


work being done:
Bore, hone, 3 angle, check flatness of head, assemble

if it makes it any better, I've done a lot of traveling so if you are in IN, OH, PA, WV, VA, MD.... or any state near those I'll even deliver the engine.
