Anyone running an extra gas tank? Pics

I found an 18 gallon marine tank for a decent deal.
Im pondering some sort of axillary tank, and or just storage.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do with this thing?
If anything maybe water storage?

well in order for that tank to work you would have to stand it up so the fittings are at the top and it looks like its pretty tall... Does it fit in the back of an XJ?

Doesn't look like it would fit well in any XJ. It would be good for the front wall of a trailer though.

Actually looking at it now and being a boat builder and knowing how big those fills are and the fact that it is only an 18gal tank its not that big correct? It would be ok in the back of your XJ as long as it is vented correctly (the 3/4 barb) and bonded to earth ground. It says bond to earth ground for a reason... The fill hose is to be wraped in a 10g wire and bonded to the chasis. If you dont and your jeep is hit by lightning which isn't uncommon "BOOM"... Thats why it says that.

I have a square marine tank that holds 18 as well and was thinking of doing this too.
