so i used to paintball every weekend
and was building up a scout
had to pick one
now i have a jeep
now its been like 3 years since ive last paintballed.
need some new guns
anyone on here have any smart parts ions they wanna get rid of for cheap or for parts?
looking for at least upgraded trigger, feedneck, decent drop,
found a bunch on craigslist for like 150 with upgraded boards, and barrels and more
if anyone is trying to sell something let me know
i guess ICD went outta bussiness in 2008?
i have a promaster, so that sucks!
plus ill b going out next sat for the first time in years if anyone is up
either davis or capital edge

ions are gas hogs and kinda junky IMO. i play D3 right now but will be moving up to PSP sometime soon

i suggest and older planet eclipse ego or a DM/PM 6-7.

much better platforms for not much more coin. more reliable, better aftermarket and just better all around

My buddy is selling a lightly modded spyder and 2 fully decked out mags, and a couple others but i forget what they are...all i remember is you can not use co2 in them only nitrogen

no spyders or mags or other cheap crap like that (tippmans, etc )
i agree with you on the ions redneckboarder, i know they arent great

but my two bros need cheap guns
and used ions are cheap, and way better than spyders for the same price
my budget is tight for paintball

just to get us all started again
id love an ego or a timmy, etc etc
dont care for cockers but the kick but

i am working on getting like 2 modded out ions for under 200$ right now
just seeing before i buy them if anyone wants to trade a gun for jeep parts, and looking for other paintballers too
i dont care for woods ball
10 man, x ball, 7 man, any air ball field etc

theres a lot of guns id love
just not right now

thats kinda funny, i used to buy and sell paintball gear all the time off ebay ages 18 thru 22.....not surprising i guess, it paid for all my gear, been outta the sport for long

I'll tell you right now - there is nothing wrong with a Tippmann!

I got my two boys started with Trracers (basic little pump marker.) When they wanted to go semi, the younger one was smart enough to ask me what to get - I told him since you couldn't get Sheridans anymore, get a Tippmann.

Both of the boys went semi at the same time. The younger one plays about three times as much.

Chris' Tippmann hasn't been in the shop in the last ten years. Dave's Spyder has been in about every six months (mainly because I got tired of working on it.)

Reliability. This is why I still use a VM. It may tip about twice as much as most autos these days, but it can (and do!) run on any damn thing I give it. I've run the thing on liquid, vapour, N2, HPA - and the only real issue I'd noted was showing a little "muzzle flash" (a white cloud) when running on a syphon tank. That's it.

I play as well. Been a while though.

I have an ICD Promaster as well, and the QEV is leaking and the LPR is shot... havin trouble finding parts haha.

The gun I use now is a Dangerous Power Fusion F7. Got it for $100 flat off PBNation. awesome gun, I highly recommend it.

Please PLEASE don't get an ion. Get something from a company that actually deserves the money, not from a company (Smart Parts) that has to cheat their way to the top.

Grab an 05 ego for ~$200 shipped off PBN.

i used to rebuild spiders, and bushamsters when i was 18, they were kinda crappy...
anyway
im looking at invert minis and dangerous powers G3 for my next one
not sure which one, prob the mini.
i soldered quick discos for my promaster and did a trigger job,
evil pipe kit
it shoots ropes, im happy with it
those invert minis are sick
and cheap
ive been looking at some egos too
i plan on a invert mini, ego, or g3 for sure
