I know they are always busy and behind at least a month or longer.

Matter of Fact I think he is a NAXJA member.
 
Agree call him first, his website says 4 weeks plus shipping time. Maybe just a bit behind.
 
You think 6 weeks is bad, try 9 months from Rigidco. Not to badtalk, just saying when fabbers have a good product and high demand, they can get behind quickly plus there always are other factors like supply of steel, shop issues, shipping, etc.
 
Agree x10 I know it's hard to wait... but it's worth the wait for his bumper.
 
dont know nate but he is a fellow michigan businessman and i give him allot of credit for making it work here in michigans crappy economy (as bas or worse in many measures than louisana and alaska). Please give the guy a break and atleast call before you complain to pay pal geez, he could have a very simple answer, reason etc and no need to get bent about an extra 2 weeks UNLESS HE ABSOLUTELY guaranteed delivery by such and such date. Even so i have had many company that have annual revenue of hundreds of millions to tens of billions of dollars not meet minimum standards THEY set. Nate 4x4 is a small shop, give the guy a break he doesnt have the resources of sears or summit or even your local ace hardware store.

Then give him a call and tell him. I'm sure that the next guy on the waiting list would be glad to get his faster. I've dealt with Nate before and he's always been fair. Try to resolve this amicably before you call the PayPal Police.

im kind of mad and i didn't even order anything from him. i had seen his website a while back, and knew he made great bumpers. a friend was wheeling, and ran into a tree, and tried to back out and hit another tree, so i recommended nates 4x4 to him. he really liked the bumpers, and the prices, so he ordered a set over a month ago. hasn't seen the bumpers, and everytime he calls its a different excuse

the excuse is probably that he's busy making bumpers for the people that pay an extra $50.

Read in other threads that he'll do yours ASAP for a $50 tip. THAT is BS.
 
omg, grow up! Call the man and just ask very nicely wth is going on. If your not happy with his answer then tell him(again very nicely) your no longer interested and Just want your money back. Call the man and have an idea of what is going to make you happy before you do! And oh my god, I have heard of people waiting months for stuff and being so damn happy they did. If you want something now, go out and buy the first cheapo peice of crap you can.Otherwise man up and deal with the fact he makes good stuff and a lot of people are buying it! Also remeber you knew it wasnt going to be johnny on the spot delivered when you ordered it!

It isnt BS because he builds those bumpers on the weekends when he normally wouldnt be working on anyone elses bumper. Seriously just grow up a little bit

So far the general consensus in this thread has been that you're the only one acting childish. What does age have to with it anyway, I'm 18 but I was man enough to wait longer than 4 weeks for my nates bumper without starting a thread to bitch and threaten to file a paypal complaint. If you're so angry about it man up and call him.
