I am trying to convince my better half that she needs a small lift and 245/75r16 tires for her 2004 WJ. She is willing to consider it if she can see one and have the ability to test drive it. She really likes the stock ride and doesn't want to stray to far from the factory ride.

Thanks,
Rob

a 1 or 2" spacer BB and one size tire up she isn't going to notice the ride difference other than she might feel like she is up a bit more.
Good luck with that I think she would like it. My lady likes my lifted XJ in fact she's been driving it for the last two weeks.

I have thought about the BB and new shocks with the 245/75r16 tires. This size tire is 1" taller than her old tires of 245/70r16. I personally think the ride is too soft and would benefit from slightly firmer springs like OME medium duty 2" springs. I was hoping I could pass off the slightly firmer springs without her noticing.

Thanks,
Rob

If she has already driven on the new tires, you blew a golden opportunity!

My Mrs was out of town when I did the Budget Boost on her XJ. That was about the only time I could keep it stationary long enough. One thing I have to my advantage: This XJ is as old as her youngest two children. She sees me take it apart, put it back together, and go for the "test drive." I tell her it should feel a little different and she still drives like Mario freakin Andretti!

Can't go wrong with the ride and quility of OME
I run the nitro shocks and love them.
