anyone here in the seattle area?

was wondering if anyone here lived in the seattle area...am moving there next spring and would like a heads up on books or guides on camping spots/trails etc....in the area or say mt. rainier or olympic etc...4wd books also if possible..want to research where i will be going before i get there

I spent 3 great years up there, and can assure you that you will not run out of things to do. Just do yourself a favor and start investing in GOOD goretex clothing and boots because the dry season lasts about a month.

Rainier, St Helens, Olympics, Puget Sound, and Canada all offer their own attractions.

has a fledgeling chapter there, hopefully you can hook up w/ them

Just stay away from the people in Puyallup.....if you can't say it, stay away...

hey, i live in stanwood which is about an hour away from seattle. if you want to go on some good trails. i know of a couple. there is the Little Natcheese, which is a lot of fun. its nothing real serious, but it does ya good. its located somewhere around yakima. there are also 4x4 meets in minroe called CORE 4x4 they are every 6 moneths. lots of fun to, they have a rock crawl, mud pit and obsticle course. you can compete for trophies there. ill keep you posted with a few more things, but for now, i got to get to off the computer see ya around.

Yup, pledging soon! I don't feel like typing out the link...and if you're too lazy to click on the forum for it, I've got www.PNWXJ.com pointed there. (That's the name of the old Yahoo group I tossed away for the dogs to play with. Old news. )

That's pretty low, especially coming from someone who's attempting to start the NW chapter of . I hope the head honchos at take a good, long look at you and realize you shouldn't be allowed ANYWHERE near a position of power in it. You critize others for personal attacks, yet you continue to do them yourself. Nobody ever attacked you personally. You couldn't handle ONE good debate on a list you had for two years, so you just closed it down without any warning. Grow up.
