Ok I know your thinking what the heck? I just picked up a Strange Engineering N1922 pinion housing for the ford 9". Well to my dissmay it states for drag racing only.. Looking at the oil feed to the bearings I see why. I am wondering if I can machine out some more oil feeds in the housing to get it to last for street and off road... The inner bearing is almost as big as a D60 pinion bearing...WAY BEEFY... I have called Strange to ask this question, but they have not replied back as of yet... I know that this board if full of Machinists... Just wanted some feedback, before I send it back... Thanks...
