I work for a concrete construction material manufacturer and I have to admit I was quite floored to hear that Universal Building Products was out of business.
This letter was sent out to customers and vendors the other day.....

I know quite a number of people who were UBP employees and this has to be a serious blow to them. Even thought they were our competitors, no one really wants to see people lose their jobs....
Has this affected any projects or the operations of your business/employer if you are a UBP customer? What do you plan on doing???
