Any way to remove this forum from a new posts search?

The Non-Tech / Off topic is the biggest piece of crap on the internet and my life would be better off if I didn't see it at all.

It's an honest request though with all the political, racial and inappropriate comments made in here I'd rather the forum Off Topic just got deleted. People will find someplace else to go hate.

Thats what I'm saying, when I search for new posts this forum is included and if I don't be extra careful I may get sucked into a troll post and that just gets me worked up. I'd like to be able to use the new posts search feature for everything but offtopic

Edit: I see now what your after. You don't want the search feature to include this Forum in it's inventory. May be possible, but I don't know Vbulletin well enough to tell you.

When you click on the the new posts tab,and it lists them,look clean over to the right.There you will see what forum they are in.The ones that say Non-Tech/Off Topic are in this forum.Don't click those ones.

Yeah, thats what I need to do. I was hopeful that that there was someway to just remove the forum from my view entirely but baring that I'll just have to pay more attention or write a greasemonkey script that hides the posts.

If anyone wants the script to ignore this forum in the new posts search pm me and I'll send you the modified greasemonkey script I used. Need you use firefox for this to work but all traces of the posts are gone from the new topics search. Will work for any forums you aren't interested in on this board.

I don't see any annoying adds due to firefox and adblocker. I enjoy arguing all too much and the off topic forum is just too good of a troll for me. Now thanks to firefox and a greasemonkey script all of those posts from Off Topic just don't show up in a new message search for me.
