Haven't seen him here for a while and he seems to have updated his sig... Hoping all is well with him.

Well as can be expected.

He responded to a PM I sent to him about a month ago. In my own words, he is devoting his energy to the home front.

I do miss his observations and input.

Thanks for bringing that up. I just saw that his sig. says "Finished. I wish you all the very best in your individual endeavors."
That doesn't sound good and I really hope he's OK. We are indeed going to miss his input round here 'cause he's been a valuable contributor to our knowledge base.

Heard from him, he is Ok and it's his health issues that are taking its toll. Let's all wish him a speedy recovery.
