Curious who is on the road and where. What ya driving and haulin? I'm now a rookie company driver (bastards). And wanna see what everyone else is up to.

I'm currently in my first truck, 08 Pete w/cummins. It's alright. Company turns em waaaaay down so we are super slow and low idle. And the Pete doesn't have the room the Freightliner does. But it's a truck and I'm getting paid. Just running refer and dry van.

Yeap, I am one of THOSE a-holes in the super slow trucks hahaha. I would push it if it would go any faster but they have em turned down sooooo bad it isn't even funny. Makes it suck for sure.

Ya we are set to 58 on throttle 61 on cruise. which only is an issue when we hit spots like on 80 where they are down to one lane, and the construction limit is still higher than we can go. So we pile up traffic for miles and miles behind us. all bad.
I don't care to be a bull hauler running 75. But the extra few to 65 would surely ease my life a little bit when it comes to certain areas.

I don't think the drivers of companies like yours are assholes but I think the company owners are. They make their trucks moving targets for road rage and create a danger all the while trying to save a buck.

I bet you aren't with them long. Once you get a years experience the otr job market is pretty vast.

If you ever get through Utah warn me....or uh...let me know. I might run into you. Doesn't May still have a big yard in Layton? It's only 4 mi from my house.

ya I'm stuck in Washington currently hoping to get a run east.
I agree about the moving target. And we don't save that much fuel if any. Its ridiculous. I don't plan on being here long. Have to start at a starter company and get my miles in so I'm making best of it and trying to learn as much as possible. Then get somewhere I can make some money lol.

I live 4 mi away. I'm usually home every night.

My normal runs are 8-12 hours with an overnighter maybe twice a week tops. Normally I leave my house after 1pm

As driving jobs go its pretty damn good. I pick my own hours, home almost every night, get all the time off I want in the summer and make $70k

Oh and one more thing. Your injectors hate this bio diesel that we run here dropped 5 injectors in 2 different trucks in 1 year
