I just moved to College Station and was wondering if there were any NAXJA people in this area? Would be nice if there were some people to get together with around here and maybe hit some nearby trails. Just getting settled in the house, but when I get everything organized would love to have a get together here. Let me know if anyone is in this area.

Thanks

Although I'm a ways north of you, I'm in Longview, about 2 hours east of the Dallas area. I also have a friend in Houston who has an XJ.
Let us know when you get settled in, and maybe we can all make plans to get something going. I'm way overdue to get out and go somewhere. Not to mention there is a tree in Gilmer with my name on it.

Meet and Greet

Sounds like everyone is in for a meet and greet. Give me about a week to get the house put together and then I would be happy to host. I'll let you know when I get it all done.

Thanks

Trail run

Where is there to go around here? I won't be up for a trail run until the end of March. I am going to be installing a RE 3.5" kit on the XJ first of next month. After that I should be ready for the trails.

Welcome to Tejas! We have a local (San Antonio) place called the Den, then there is Twin Buttes near San Angelo, Gilmer Northeast of Dallas, and a few others.

Just wanted to pop in and say

Texas Sucks

I thought Texas blew and Kansas sucks. I stand corrected. Welcome to the REAL south, even if you do suck. :D

They just talk like that cuz they're jealous.

My favorite picture of Oklahoma is the one I took through my rear view mirror as I crossed the Red River.

Jealous...jealous, jealous, jealous. Terry secretly wishes he were a Texan.

Hey Patrick, what am I?

Um, stupid?

No, I'm Texas!

What's the difference? :looser:

Haaaaa, ha ha ha ha ha

See? It's a commonly known fact. :spin1:

(The above is a Sponge Bob clip for those of you without kids)

Anyone see the king of the hill episode where he goes to north texas to a propane place to talk to the guys there and they sing the boomer Sooner song. That was a great episode. The guy was like "You know whats great about (name of city where they went) in only 10 min. we can be in the great state of Okla.

But back on topic would you guys let an Oklahoman join the trail run down there? I will take the upside down longhorn off the back of my jeep for the weekend. I am going down around Gilmer at the beginning of April I hope...

You all suck, Texas sucks.......by the way, can I go wheeling in Texas with you? HAHAHAHA :D

Wheelin

Bucky you can come wheelin. It would be nice to actually get to do some wheelin with you this time. Last time you got to work on JDs rig the whole day. It kinda sucked that we all didn't get to hit those trails as a group. Chris led us through some great trails out there.
