Bumping the thread. Are there any organized runs yet? Or is anyone going out for just the day?
There are no official organized runs, because a truly organized event would likely require permits and such and would add more regulations and remove spontaneity and amusement. It works out well when we self-police, and everyone has fun.
FOOD:
Richard (Goatman) and "Team

" are doing burgers and chips Saturday night. They will be requesting donations, and any extra proceeds will go towards building and outfitting the XJ they are entering in King of the Hammers in February. Please be generous if you can!
RUNS:
Random groups will take off for various parts unknown all through the weekend, but there will probably be some semblance of organization on Saturday a.m.
Folks will likely coincidentally gather into similarly-built groups at 8 or 9am on Saturday and end up heading in various directions that will end up at the beginnings of various trails and such. There will probably be an extreme group, a moderately hard group, and a scenic wandering group, and possibly something between the moderately hard and the scenic--hard to do in JV, but hopefully someone will figure something out!
I'll be doing something resembling a scenic/easy run on Saturday. I'm currently leaning towards driving out to Giant Rock, and planning on getting lost a few times on the way. See, that way getting lost is just part of the plan, and part of the fun!!
CLOTHING:
Anyone who bought Chapter clothing in this latest round needs to find me
by noon on Sunday (white 1998 2 door with most of a

logo in white on the front window). I have family coming into town from WA Sunday afternoon, and need to head home to San Diego earlier than I usually would. I will likely be in "camp" from about 7pm on Friday til Sat a.m., and then around Saturday afternoon thru Sunday noon.
