We can have a meet and greet at my house if everyone wants to drive to Abilene Just trying to lighten the mood. We are really spread out for a chapter, so there is no way you are going to make everyone happy.

First off, you are a forum user, am I wrong? And second when did I "talk shit"or say anything to or about you?

You two come over here and representing xjtalk, is that the way you all act over there? I have no issues nor do i even know you. And on that note you don't me either so coming to my chapter and making threats is no way to represent a forum or the OR community a all.

Oh and one more thing.... x2elite and I worked our butts off so that we would have a great raffle this past ROM. NONE of you understand what we had to go thru to get those prizes for you guys to try and win. And I doubt any BoD after us will try as hard as we did. Trust me I know.... I annoyed the hell out of Nationals the whole time.

I put up with alot of BS before, during and for a long time afterwards ROM. But I did not even get one "thanks for trying" or "thanks for the hard work", but that was to be expected when volunteering to run a chapter.

ive thought long and hard about what to say after all the things that you put up on here and about what you pmed me so i will say thank you for rom it was a lot of fun (all but freezing my butt off)and i will say that you were dealt a crappy hand with the weather and yes you were out there getting wetter than all of us but you did wheel and maybe a lot more than some of the others did ( not me i wheeled a lot ) and i do agree with you that its a lot harder to run anything than anyone thinks it is and yes it is wrong for anyone from any other site to come on here and give you crap so for that i am sorry. now let me say as far as my fit all i did was say what everyone was talking about i guess i was the one who had the balls or stupidity to say it and at least i did it to your face i didnt hide behind a comp to do so. i allso think that me and nancy went way out of are way to help you get your jeep ready for rom and you know what i dont remember you ever saying thank you or anything so before you slam me go look at yourself. the reason im not a paid member is because of all this. im very happy with the home that i did find for my xj . btw i guess you know what it takes to get a bod on here now DeftwillP so for now y'all have a nice day

Like I mentioned above, not trying to start a user/member fight. It was more about the timing of the weekend that you're advertising. I just found xjtalk a few days ago and actually signed up. It's all Houston based as far as I can tell but I wouldn't mind heading out that way sometime and wheeling with ya.

Just to clear up a point, XJTalk isn't necessarily Houston based. The owner is in Houston and has managed to garner a number of local members. However there is another pocket of us in CA and New Zealand. Many others are scattered all accross the country with a few Europeans also.

Thanks! Yeah we got several new members from doing Houston area meets and greets. I know other xjtalk members have had meet and greets in El Paso and in California. Now one in New Zealand would be cool! I'd like to drive to that one!

Thank you Rene, I am sorry I snapped like that but no one really knows what it's like to try and run a chapter as big as this one. Not to mention having to deal with crap like this.

I know you and Nancy went out of your way to help me and yes I did thank you. I know I did. I would not of been able to go without your help.

One last thing, I guess you missed my post a few months back about me being super busy and I might not post but I lurk and if you need me to pm me.my new job takes up most of my time now and my family too. Naxja is my home page so I always check it.

OK now the thread is hijacked...


It's going great. Thursday and Friday I had to get everything ready to move my plant again. The MOST stressful time for me. We have to make an emergency move. We have a multi-million dollar job going on and we are running out of material to supply them.

Make things worse, my stacking conveyor turns into a trailer... well it had a blowout and was almost impounded. But I got on scene and pointed out to the cop that they will need a crane to unhook it from the truck and hook it back to anonther. He agreed and hung out till we got the tire replaced. I am not going into that issue right now.... 2.5 hours later we had the truck back in the road.

I wish I could spend more time back "home" in Spring and be able to go wheelin with everyone there and even make it to other areas. I get back there as often as I can. I spent every weekend for several years going to Spring Creek. It has lost it's appeal and has always been illegal in a sence. To me it doesn't matter if you're a user or member, we all love to wheel our XJ's. I decided to join to give back to a hobby and community that I love. I know this chapter is spread out, but arguing about things won't make it better. We need to have solidarity.
