Soo i have a 99 xj that i am about to replace the exhaust. My question is should i replace the front pipe or not. I already have all the parts.
front pipe
new studs & gasket
high flow cat
flow master muff
and stainless band clamps
i will be doing the job in the morning before work and need the car for the weekend. the front pipe isn't to rusted but i didn't like the pinch in the front to clear the DS (5.5" lift) and it only cost me like $24 so its not the money. IF/When the studs break are they easy to replace? The last thing i want is for this to turn into more work than it has to be. i have no time on my hands and need it to go smooth but like to do things once. should i leave it or change it? If i change it what should i expect if i break a stud? Does that pinch even do anything to performance or sound?
