both front and rear axles are bent. the frame on the driver side is bent to a 45 degree. and yea you can see the body. So we found out today that his parents plan on buying a new car and there going to give Justin there 96 Lexus LX450 which is basically the same damn thing as his land cruiser just the lexus model sooo much nicer version lol and considering he still has all four tires and wheels and the lift and control arms are still good. Hes gonna swap everything over and still have an FJ80. Cant beat that. Now when we go to trails ill have a Lexus following me... wierd... lol

we went to the crash site today too ill try and get pics of that up tomorrow. man was he being modessed about hitting some trees. He took out some BIG trees for a good 60 to 70 yards. we found one of his front coils 100 yards from where his truck came to stop! his cooland over flow bottle and other pieces were across the freeway a good 80 yards away... absolutely amazing

The axles under his land cruiser are bent but were gonna try and get the shafts out so he can pull the third members which have e lockers that will go straight into the Lexus

Does the Lexus sport a V8 or does it have the same inline as the land cruiser?

It has the same 4.5l straight six. I don't think they started using v8s till the next body style

after this thread my next rig is a 93-98 Land cruiser as my DD ( i work like 2 miles from home and often take light rail anyway)
with factory e-lockers.
i plan to do a 5" lift and some 35s, sliders, rack, bumpers, and nothing else....
no idea where to get lift parts for these though. these are called fj80's right?

lol i know right? there awsome trucks. And yea they are fj80s the year range is 93-97. Iron man off road and Old Man Emu sells kits for them. My buddy justin that has that lexus has a 6 inch coils for them off the old land cruiser cause he just picked up 5 inch coils for free. He has both rears but only one front. He was gonna have the front one duplicated to have a set. If you want them let me know and ill talk to them. Good website for info on them is www.ih8mud.com

jon if you do get one and lift it. dont stay with the factory radius arms there terrible. Its well worth doin a three link, justin and i have a great cheap design if your interested.
