For those of you who have been interested in the door pockets I have been working on, just thought Id give you an update. Ive got the prototypes back and they look great. Bad thing is they had to do a multiple setup for the manufacturing which bumped up the manufacturing cost. Im going to eat most of that but Im still going to go forward pending sufficient demand. Just like most of you guys wanted, rounded corners with a cupholder and no hole array.
They are going to be $65 per pair plus shipping unless I am able to get the manufacturing costs pushed down a bit. I have a few areas that I may be able to shave a few dollars if things work out as hoped.
This price includes the door pocket with the edge trim installed as well as allen head fasteners for both sides so you can get an allen wrench in the pocket to tighten them down.
You will need to drill the door panels to install these. Installation is very simple. You should be able to install them by prying the bottom of the door panel out and not removing the panel completely.
Annodizing and powder coating will be available for an added cost.
I can have them annodized or powder coated in a few different colors, but that will add some time as I haven't been able to get a solid price quote on cost per pair.
Your total cost calculated once you give me your zip code. Send me an email at [email protected], or pm me here to get on the list. The first run will be fairly small and probably limited to 12 pairs.
They will mount the same way as the original prototypes.
