Hey guys, just wanted to share an experience ive had. My brother and I both own 2000's and both of our driver seat frames have cracked and broken. had a buddy of mine weld em back together. I think all of that seat type, going all the way back to 97, have this issue. I would recommend you check it out. The cracks usually develop in the front left, and rear right part of the frame, under the cushion. They form from the welds that are already on there.

My '91 drivers seat frame broke on me awhile back. Hopped in and had a sudden recliner. Took it out, welded it up and haven't had any problems since.

I rewelded mine before sierra fest. Almost got new seats but decided to try and fix it first. Feels like new now.

My old 2000 seat frame cracked as well...But I'm a lardass. I liked it after a while as it made the seat feel like a racing suspension seat. FTW
