All Things Guns

 That savage have the accutrigger? Trick little setup they have. Flex has a really nice Savage .17 with the accutrigger and laminate thumbhole stock. Sweet little rifle.

I want to get some Tannernite.

You should feel the trigger on a savage f-class rifle, its a different accutrigger that goes down to a few ounces. I leave mine around 6oz.

Re: SAR ARMS

Anybody know anything about them?

JIM.

No it doesn't have the accutrigger but I like the trigger pull on it.

I want to get some Tannernite.

There is a little gun shop on Davis that sells the shockwave brand individually for $6.50 for 1lb. That is where I picked it up at just to try it out.

Here is a video of it inside of the washer, pardon the language at the end.

Tannerite is some fun stuff. It has made appearances at un-official MWC events in the past. At least 2 that I have been to.

Like this one?!

Just bought it last week, great piece.

Yep! Just like that one. It's a sweet shooter. Makes me want one myself. Badly. It's on my list of guns to buy. Accurate, comfortable, powerful, low recoil (none), great trigger...the thing is a tack driver out of the box.

Aaron and I played kind of a leap frog game with his 10/22 and that thing. He'd shoot into the retaining pond, I'd shoot his splash and he'd hit mine afterwards. It made a fun way to use ammo 2:1 since the capacities are so far apart.

Not a thumbhole stock. Has the rest though.

That was fun! Ready for another festfest or pig gig!

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pictures....this sweet shooter has an Accutrigger and it is smoooooooooooooooooooth

My 10/22 now.

If the pistol grip is adjustable I need to move it back a fraction of ince.

I have used a hartis 6-9 BRS. It has noched legs for quick adjustments and swivels so leveling is simple. Works great for me..

This is built on the tree screw savage precision target action. I have loved it since the start, the scope is now upgraded from this leupold 6.5-20 to a leupold 8.5-24 with a 30mm tube and way better side focus. Savages are awesome

This is my cheapy Mossberg 702 Plinkster .22LR. I bought it for like 107 out the door at WalMart about 5 years ago.

I took off the iron sights and it's got a different scope on it now; 3-9x40 Bushnell. It's not a tack driver, but it's reliable and fairly accurate. It'll kill squirrels out at 75yds without a problem.

I just realized I need to get some pics of my R700. I swapped the youth model stock out for a varmint stock. With the factory sporter barrel in the varmint channel, it's already full float. I also added a Badger Ordnance tactical bolt knob. You can operate this bolt with frickin boxing gloves on. I'd like to adjust the trigger lower and spend some more quality time with it to get my groups smaller. I'll snap a couple pics next time I'm out at the shop and give up some specs.

I don't know how often you guys browse Armslist, but around here gun prices are starting to drop again. Ammo is still up there since availability is still junk. Magazine prices are dropping.

I really just wish parts would start dropping and availability would come back. When I got my LPK for my poly AR I paid ~$60 and I still can't find them for under $110. Not that I have my second lower yet (should be here very soon) but I'd like to get springs, pins and detents ready. Found a LPK missing trigger group and pistol grip for $100. Gimme a break!
