anyone know of a good alignment shop in southern indiana? i live about 35 miles outside louisville, ky. i'm new to the area and don't really trust any of the places i've used so far. BIG O, Jack's and some mom and pop's place that looked all confused when i asked them if they could balance my tires.

I'm up in Bloomington, the guys ar Pomp's Tires used the same powder they use on big rigs to balance my tires. I have never had a problem with them and they do a very good job aligning, especially on lifted vehicles.

Thanks, I live 30 miles or so from New Albany. A place called Hardinsburg. I just had an alignment done today on my way home from class and when I asked for a printout of my before and after specs they told me they're computer doesn't print them out. The tech just left for lunch so I was told to call in an hour and i could speak to the tech that did the alignment. I called back and asked what my toe, caster, and camber numbers were before and after since I did the alignment and caster adjustment myself after replacing a tie rod end, and installing adj upper and lower control arms. He told me the same thing, the computer doesn't print them out and he wasn't sure what the numbers were exactly. He said my toe was out 1* and he gave me 2* in, even though the factory specs were 0* because "it will help my tires grip the road better". When I asked about the caster he said it was right in the middle of specs but can't remember the number and wouldn't have been able to adjust it because he would have to unbolt the control arms to do it. Isn't that what that bracket and the shims are for? Or am I missing something? Is 2* in going to cause problems other than tire wear? I feel like going and asking for my money back.
