When I was up in PA for the Jeep show I picked up a factory OEM header panel from MrSimon.

It was in good condition and needed some filler for various rock chips all over. I ended up not getting all of them filled, but I did the most important spots such as chips along the top edge. Parts to rebuild the headlight harness with 14 gauge wire is still on the way so I will be installing this later in the week.

Harness stripped, wires pulled, and right headlight connector redone with 14 gauge wire. The H4 connectors are ceramic with a plastic casing.

I used Scotch Super 33+ electrical tape for sealing and Scotch Tough Duct Tape Extreme Hold in a very dark silver to mount to the factory clips.

Left headlight connector and wires done. I remembered to cut the duct tape in two this time.

Hella weatherproof relays and sockets.(007794301 and H84709001) Fuse holders will have 10 amp fuses to supply a minimum of 100 watts safely. All wiring splices are done with heat shrink weather seal butt splices. About five feet of wiring and a short 14 gauge ground wire to the spot as the stock harness on the left fender. The final sheathing and wrapping will done in vehicle to get the lengths correct.

Where are you in SC. Looks great Alexia! I'd love to at some point make out 88 look this good.

Built a bus bar from a door shim since the only post was crowded.(Cover not shown.)

Cleaned up all the other wiring and fix some wire loom issues. An unfortunate meeting of many accessory wiring harnesses.

The new headlight wiring harness, weatherproof relays, and connections. It is entirely built into the stock harness and is conservatively rated to handle 100 watts per bulb.

Who makes that intake?

Sprintex Australia/USA. Only fifty prototype kits were made for the USA and they sold off the remaining five kits last year basically at whole sale prices. The casting quality and machine work is excellent for a prototype design. If I am reading the serial number correctly the one I had is #14 made.

I have been mocking up and welding the exhaust. Various delays in getting tri-mix welding gas for stainless steel set me back over a week.
 
The exhaust still needs an intermediate pipe from the header past the transfer case. Now that the header is done I can work on that and finishing all the other little pieces.

Header paint does a great job of hiding hideous welds.

Fiberglass header wrap; only need on the first six inches or so to get the heat away from the intake manifold.
