As a new owner of a white stock 99 XJ, your rig is somewhat of an inspiration to me. Incredibly clean and well proportioned. How much lift is that and what size tires?
I used the full traction kit, but full framed the XJ first then used brackets that are all welded and integrated into the frame. Its a 6 inch kit and I used 33 inch Toyo Muds which are almost 35"

That is one all-around fine rig. I'm saving the pics for my collection.

What are you....a drug dealer?

What ever you do for a living……..I want in……….lol

j/k

There’s 1 hell of a lot of money into that thing.........How do you keep it so dent and scratch free.......with all that stuff I would be bashing that thing night and day

props on ppl with a light foot

Nice work on the bumper

Capo Ford, huh? I'll stop by to say hi next time I'm over there to do an off-lease inspection.

Fordguy, is that roof rack custom made? Looks good where can I get one. Maybe since you are so happy about your new bumper you can just give me the rack!!! LOL

The rook rack was made by Kevins OffRoad in Az. Total Nightmare ! I made him redue it his welding looked like a 5 year old did it. 2 time around its ok.

I told my wife after I spent 65,000 on a prerunner the XJ would only cost 5 grand, then she found out I spent more than that on my Axles! She was really pissed!!! And Still peved

Do you work for a bank, or FMCC?

I work for a company that does the inspections for FMCC and other lenders. I was sorry to see that Sam had left Capo Ford.

Cool. First time I met Sam, he was wearing this big old cowboy hat. I was like, who is this guy, Cal Worthington? :)

Why stick with crappy 30 outers with a 9"?? Judging by your previous rig it was not a budgetary concern.
The reason is that When I spoke in detail with John Currie From Currie Enterprise, It was clear that the D30 outer parts they use would never be a issue with a XJ. As you know, most Rigs are guess work and not actually engineered. I trust his expertise, if you have ever seen one of his rigs he knows his stuff. What do you really think would break, He uses super strong axles, I thinks 33 spline front and 35 spline rear ? This is the first jeep I have built, Did it in 3 months on my garage floor, If it does not work then I will rip out those axles toss them in the dumpster and try something else. I don't know what in hell I am doing anyway !
