airplane hill Re-opened! video!

Hey, if at first you don't succeed, try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try....... oh well, just keep trying till your tires burn off all rain in the NW. Tough rig though, I kept expecting to hear the "pop! clank clank clank" sound of a heavy foot.

.......somebody can't drive. That rig also looked like it had way too much air in the tires.

The tires didn't appear to be bellying out much, if at all. He is also a big fan of the skinny pedal, which I also expected to be met with a "Bang!" at a couple of points in the video.

Bottom line, he smoked off a lot of Irok tread and dug some holes out for the next guy. He did get it done, though.

He states he was at 10 psi. That video does not do it justice. I walked most of that trail last sunday, it is Awesome looking. There is a bypass on the left, if you can't do the rocks.

There were inches of burnt tread and metal flakes all over the gatekeeper section.

I can't wait to give this trail a run.

He just needed to build up some heat in those tires...:firedevil

Mission accomplished. He was throwing some serious smoke at a couple of points. I expected him to knock a bead off or snap an axle at the point he tried multiple times with the hard sideways slide into the rocks at the edge of the trail.

Not the most graceful climb, but effective. It's hard to tell from the video, but I'm guessing everything was wet and slimy the way his tires spun so much.

He states he was at 10 psi.

I can't wait to give this trail a run.
Why does he say 10 and 75 psi? lol
"Ya, I've never wheeled before I was acutally at 75psi."

From the video's there are a few things that I suspect:
1. It is one Nicely built EB.
2. It is probably a MUCH more difficult trail than it looks in the video.
3. The location of the video'er is Deathly Dangerous!
4. It looks like he is running DBL's
5. With a rig that light and that size of tire, it could easily be 10 psi.
6. Less tire pressure may or may not of made a big difference in traction in these conditions.
7. He had WAY too much tire spin to provide any significant traction.
8. Many of the places he does make progress he was useing much less skinny pedal.

That video doesn't show the amount of incline on the trail. Its pretty steep. After walking the trail, I don't think I would recognize it from that video if it wasn't labeled. The rock sections are very similar to the filter on crushers, but the hill climb is a lot longer on a about a 30~45% incline.

It look a like a trail a group could spend a lot of time on.
